Impressive 25 1/2" x 35 3/4" lithograph matted to an overall size of 32 1/4" x 43", At the bottom it reads "E.B. & E.C Kellogg, 136 main St., Hartford, Conn., Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1846, by Kellogg & Thayer, in the clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern District of NY."

The print has a central image of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and is surrounded by Presidents up to James K. Polk. Most of the Presidents have their birth and death dates, while Polk has his birth date and the date he was inaugurated President, March 4, 1845. We have encountered similar pieces from this era, but not this stunning and visually aesthetic print.

Condition
