Bartl, Janos. Janos Bartl Address Plate. Circa 1930. Porcelain enameled address plate/door tag bearing the text ?Inh. J?nos Bartl.? Screw holes at ends. Length 5 ??. Small chips, minor soiling. This plate was most likely screwed to a door of Bartl?s famous Hamburg magic factory. The business thrived in the pre-war years, producing all types of magic props, from the largest stage illusions to the smallest pocket tricks.
