Jascha Heifetz, Arthur Rubinstein, and Gregor Piatigorsky Signed Lecture Advertisement. [Chicago, 1949]. Single leaf from a program advertising the trio?s performance at the Ravinia Festival, signed by all three performers beside their portraits. Sight 9 ? x 7 ??. Ragged edges and soiling, signatures very good. Outstanding and rare example of the three legendary performers signing the same item. The so-called Million Dollar Trio was short-lived, apparently partly due to arguments over whom?between Heifetz and Rubinstein?would take top billing. Rubinstein and Heifetz never performed together again after 1950.
