Jay Marshall Signed "Lefty" Glove. [1999]. A vintage white plush glove with sewn on black buttons, the thumb and forefinger colored in black to form a face, paper ears glued to verso. Inscribed on the ears: "To Fr. Cyp [Cyprian Murray]/Best wishes/Jay Marshall." 8 x 7". Opening to insert hand is sealed shut with glue; for display only. Slight creases to ears. A limited number of these gloves, modeled after Marshall's famous puppet, were distributed as table centerpieces at a banquet for the 1999 30th Annual Magic Collectors' Weekend in Chicago, in which year Marshall was the guest of honor.
