JOHNSON, Henry William (1857-1926). Zip the Pinhead Bust. Clay bust of William Henry Johnson, nicknamed ?Zip the Pinhead,? a performer for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey sideshow act. 8 x 7?. Paint chipping to clay mold towards lips and chin. Holes present at the base of bust for attaching to a full size figure. Provenance: The Great Dime Museum (Brooklyn, NY).
