Condition

Gilt on front board a bit toned; jacket toned, edgeworn, scuffed, rear jacket panel chipped at bottom, some soiling. A fine copy in a good jacket. FOURTH PRINTING, INSCRIBED BY JOHNSON ON THE HALF-TITLE: "To Wendell Anderson - With best wishes, Lyndon B Johnson". With the recipient's bookplate on the ffep., two souvenir bookmarks from the 1964 Democratic Convention and a mimeographed (?) letter from the chairman of the DNC, presenting this book. The recipient, Wendell Anderson (1933-2016) was a hockey player, governor and senator from Minnesota.
