Included are early nineteenth century handbills for appearances of the Indian Jugglers in London (the same troupes from which Ramo Samee came), hand-colored engravings, clippings on the subject from the eighteenth century and beyond (some from the Stanley Collins collection), A ticket for the Salma Brothers ?electric Egyptian brothers" show, a letterpress handbill (ca. 1818) for the ?Celebrated Indian Juggler (from Seringapatam)" presenting ?dexterity of hand" and more traditional juggling feats with a stone ball and other apparatus. Most 8vo, and generally very good condition. A very good group with some early examples of jugglers appearing in England.
