Laminated guest badge on green paper with clip granting visitor access to White House Staff during JFK?s visit to Newport, Rhode Island in October 1961. With clip, 4 ? x 2 ??. President Kennedy and his family were frequent visitors to Newport; Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier were married at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church on 12 September 1953. These badges were issued to members of the president?s entourage, including Evelyn Lincoln. Previously sold by Guernsey?s Auction House on 15-17 December 2005 as part of the Robert L. White Collection.
