KRAUS, Robert (1925-2001). Halloween. 1965. Offset-printed poster printed on linen-finish paper. 37 ? x 22 ??. Property hand-stamp of ?Board of Education? (faint) upper right. Original folds; scattered spotting and staining. B. Kraus was a children?s book author and illustrator whose career spanned 50 years. He was a regular cartoonist at the New Yorker in the 1950s-60s, designing several covers for the magazine. In the 1960s he founded a publishing house, Windmill Books.
