KROLL, Leon (American, 1884?1975). A pair of signed lithographs, including: one artist special print and one numbered ?79?. Each signed twice in pencil and with the notation to lower margin ?To my dear friends Boris and Choura?. Included with an archive of letters from Kroll to Boris Pregel (1893?1976). Consisting of 7 TLS, 5 ALS, 1 APS, and 7 envelopes. Pregel was a Russian born engineer and deal in uranium and radium. Upon moving to New York after the Nazi invasion of Europe, Pregel was enlisted to supply uranium to the Manhattan Project, giving them the first uranium used in the experiments.
