[LAUREL, Stan (1890 - 1965)]. Two antique playbills from Laurel's collection. Two theater playbills from the collection of the English comic actor, writer, and film director, most famous for his role in the comedy duo Laurel and Hardy.
The first is an 1837 playbill for the Theater Royal, Convent Garden production of The Bridal as well as the Opera of Fra Diavolo. The second is an 1869 playbill for the comedy Home! starring Mr. Southern as well as for the farce Easy Shaving.
