Lavinia Thumb?s stockings. Mid-nineteenth century. Pair of finely made miniature stockings worn by Mrs. Tom Thumb and handed down to Mrs. Tom Thumb?s family. Lavinia Thumb?s maiden name was Lavinia Bump, and these stockings were presented to the Florida based Circus Hall of Fame by Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin J. Bump, of Middleboro, Massachusetts. Accompanied by two odd stockings. Hall of Fame Museum display sign. Fair condition. See previous lot.
