Original charcoal and watercolor drawing of a woman on a large staircase on the water with a boatman on a boat in the foreground; at the head of the staircase are two guards in elaborate dress. Signed at lower right corner. Sight approximately 15 x 9 ?". Matted and frame under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 24 ? x 19". Minor toning, some faint discoloration near the boatman (barely visible). Fine. A lovely, haunting image, atypical for Lawson. Not examined out of frame. From the Collection of Louis A. Irmo. Measurements: 25 x 19 x 1".
