Leather Coin Casket. Circa 1890. A small brass box covered in leather with an internal slot for one coin. Opening and closing the lid vanishes or produces the coin. Approximately 2 x 2 1/8 x ??. The first we have seen in this form, for a single coin, as most caskets that operate in this manner were built to accommodate four.
