LEVANTE (Leslie Cole, 1892 ? 1978). Archive of Correspondence and Ephemera. 1930s ? 70s, including a TLS to Stanley Collins from Levante, theatre programmes for various British appearances in the 1940s, a pitch book explaining many tricks as sold by Levante after his shows, illustrated mailing covers, a single issue of the How's Tricks circular issued by the magician, an annotated sheet of music used in the Levante show with penciled marginalia, handbills, newspaper clippings, and more. Over 30 items, neatly organized in a three-ring binder, the largest 10 x 8", with many items SIGNED by Levante. A very good group of memorabilia from the career of this famous Australian illusionist.
