[LITHOGRAPHY]. [AFRICAN-AMERICANA]. BOILLY, Louis Leopold (1761-1845). Group of Four Lithographs, including: La Famille Africaine, La lecture du Testament, Les Gueux, L?Avarice. Paris: Delpech, [ca. 1823]. Well-known color lithograph with a stereotypical depiction of an African-American [?] family. And three other color lithographs depicting groups of people, all taken from ?Recueil des Grimaces?. Both approximately 9 ? x 8?. Famille Africaine is toned, soiled, trimmed, tape on verso (which has bled-through to the image), chipped. The others are generally trimmed at margins, some mild wear, soiling. Fair or better. Rare.
