LOKHOFF, Nicolas (1872 ? 1948), after. Pyramid of Capitalist System. 1912. Cleveland: Issued by Kuharich/International Pub. Co. Color lithograph poster. Paper. Slight brown marks in margins; creases in image, old folds; faint stain at center left. B+. 20 x 16". A very rare anti-capitalist poster, based on a 1901 design by Nicolas Lokhoff appearing in a Russian publication. A poster version was issued in 1911 by Nedeljkovich, Brashich, & Kuharich. This is a 1912 printing by Kuharich. This is just the fifth copy of either printing to have appeared at auction.
