LONG, Frank Belknap (1901-1994). Original Typescript for the Novel Version of "The Horror from the Hills." [Sauk City, WI: Arkham House Publishers, 1963]. [ii], 1-101, [1, blank] leaves. Text on rectos only. Each page 11 x 8 1/2". THE ORIGINAL TYPESCRIPT FOR THE 1963 NOVEL VERSION OF THIS CTHULU MYTHOS STORY, ORIGINALLY SERIALIZED IN WEIRD TALES MAGAZINE IN 1931. Long was a prolific author who worked in several genres, but is most famous for his horror and science fiction tales. He won various awards during his long career, including the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1987, the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 1978, and the First Fandom Hall of Fame Award in 1977.
