Magic Secretary/Bean Box. German [?], ca. 1890. A fine small mahogany secretary cabinet with four sliding drawers. Drawers are shown empty, then the bottom three each fill with a differently-colored dry bean. Finally, the uppermost drawer is opened to reveal one of each bean inside. Later German instructions. A few chips and expected wear. Rare.
