MANGUIN, Henri Charles (French, 1874-1949). Reclining Female Nude. [Ca. 1920s]. Oil on artist?s board. Signed lower right corner. Image: 17 ? x14 ??. Frame: 20 x 17?. An old-typed label on verso states: ?This painting was purchased in Paris during a trip by W. Chappell (Iron Monger of Newton Abbot) and his wife in the Summer of this year for 1921?. One small section at right lower edge of 1/2? square is cracked and lifted slightly in board with visual cracks in the paint. Not examined out of frame.
