Matthew Phipps Shiel was a British horror and scientific romance author, and was the most flamboyant member of the English Decadence movement. Prince Zaleski and Cummings King Monk is a collection of short stories featuring the two title characters, both of whom are supernatural detectives. These stories appeared in 1895-1955 and 1911 - this is the first appearance in which they were collected together.
