Sight approximately 22 ? x 18". Matted and framed under glass. Frame size approximately 29 x 24 ?". Map foxed, thumbsoiled, toned, 1 horizontal crease and several marginal tears visible, map a bit loose in frame. Good. AN UNCOMMON EARLY POCKET MAP OF NORTH AMERICA SHOWING TEXAS AS PART OF MEXICO AND ALASKA AS PART OF RUSSIA'S TERRITORY. Finley was well-known as one of the finest map makers of the United States, with his maps being heavily detailed and highly accurate. Several Native American territories are shown. Not examined out of frame.
