Banks in contemporary full black morocco, boards ruled in gilt, spine ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, yellow endleaves, all edges gilt (some rubbing, wear to binding, some soiling to endleaves, plates toned, foxed, text a bit toned with occasional foxing, two contemporary gift inscriptions on front blank and previous owner's signature on title-page).
