Together with a reproduction photograph of Morton.Morton?s first success as a theatrical manager was with Maskelyne & Cooke. He arranged some of the duo?s first tours beginning in 1869, and helped establish them at the Egyptian Hall. Morton worked with Maskelyne & Cooke until 1886, and went on to a long career in theatrical management. Many of the programs in this archive feature Morton?s portrait on the front wrapper.
