Masonic Royal Arch Ark of the Covenant. 1890. Carved and painted wood with metal pole holders. Lid opens, items inside include candle, rod with faux roses, and three scrolls?one ?A Copy of the Book of the Law / Holiness to the Lord." The ark represents divine presence and guidance. Items inside with age-related wear and staining. Ark with wear, abrasions, scratches, paint flaking and loss in areas, molding loose in areas, surface dirt, and lid warped and minor cracking. Good condition. 12 x 22 x 12".
