Original dark brown embossed cloth, cover stamped in gold and ruled in blind. 12mo. Spine sunned, and worn at ends, boards somewhat worn and soiled, text a bit toned. Very good. Rare. Jessel 1180. The first full exposition of the great American card game that, before the Civil War, was more popular than poker and lent the term ?to euchre? to the language.
