Near contemporary full vellum, spine stained in brown and lettered in gilt (spine sunned, some light rubbing, soiling to binding, text a bit toned with some occasional offsetting, inkstamp on title-page). Very good. This book fiercely attacked phony mathematics scholars, medical practitioners, and other ?Charlatans?. Magic practitioners are mentioned later in the text (p. 241 and later).
