MILTON, John (1608?1674). The Paradise Lost of? London: [J. Billing] for Henry Washbourne & Co., 1858. 4to. 24 mezzotints engraved by John Martin (several plates dampstained near lower margin). Contemporary half morocco gilt, marbled sides, raised bands, gilt?lettering in compartments, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers (extremes gently rubbed, some marginalia in a contemporary hand). Provenance: Sir Herbert Lloyd, Baronet (armorial bookplate).
