Mitruk studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1941 through 1942 and worked for The Chicago Art Institute, first in the print department, and later as assistant to Kathryn Kuh in the Gallery of Art Interpretation. Craquelure overall. Not examined out of frame.
