MORRIS, Chester (1901 - 1970). Personal Ephemera Collection from The Caine Mutiny Court Martial. Wichita, Kansas,1958. Includes annotated personal script for Morris' part of "Captain Queeg" in the stage play based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Caine Mutiny" by Herman Wouk. Morris was the guest artist for the 58'/59' season at The Wichita Community Theatre. Performances between Oct. 1-4, 1958.
Also includes a program from The Wichita Community Theatre as well as a hardcover copy of the play featuring a few pages of annotations present along with typed monaloge direction to interior cover, as well as name and address written in pen.
Photographs include stage images featuring Morris in character, and candidly under the Wichita, Kansas Marquee.
