Color lithograph two-sheet poster promoting the biblical-themed play by Edmond Rostand, who dedicated the work to Bernhardt. The play follows Photina, a Samarian girl who meets Christ and becomes a follower. In the mosaic behind Bernhard is the word ?Yahweh? in Hebrew. 68 1/8 x 22 ??. Gilt frame (Plexiglas). Inpainted loss at upper right (2 x 1 ?? area); long closed tear from top center; scattered closed tears; pinholes with oxidation marks in margins; ink-stamp in lower sheet.
