Mysto Die and Frame (Jumbo). Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer, ca. 1930. The magician places a stencil-painted wooden cube depicting dragons into a wooden frame resting on a pedestal. A ribbon is threaded through holes in the frame and cube, yet at the performer's command, the cube is released from the frame. Cube measures 6” square, lacquered in six colors. 15 ½” tall. Paint worn at edges of frame and cube. Uncommon in this size.
