Sepia tone albumen on original studio mount of a formal portrait of a Sioux Indian, seated in a studio setting, holding a bow with arrows in one hand, and a pipe and beaded pipe bag in the other. Ink notation of studio in lower left corner of image. Handsomely displayed in a wood frame with contemporary Native American beaded bands mounted within. Image, 14 x 10 ??. Margins and image lightly soiled.
