Nest of Boxes. Circa 1920. A borrowed watch, ring, or other small object vanishes, then reappears in the smallest of eight locked, nested boxes, each finished in lacquer over hardwood. Inset brass handles in each lid. With keys. Largest box 9 ? x 9 ? x 6?. Bottomless method. A handsome set.
