George Newmann, the ?pioneer mentalist? to present his mentalism and hypnosis show to rural Americans in the first half of the twentieth century. Typed captions describe the images, the tent, and the process of setting it up and tearing it down. The typewritten title page states, ?Snaps taken at random by one of the canvas-boys. 1937.? Plain paper cover with handwritten title to front in pencil. Four leaves plus cover. Several images loose, a few chips to exterior and browning to pages. An unusual and unique object.
