Condition

Toned, some edgewear, light soiling, faint tape residue on first page, 4 hole-punch holes at left margin, central horizontal crease. Near fine. HEADLINE STORY ABOUT THE RATIFICATION OF THE 19TH AMENDMENT. "Suffrage Amendment Is Ratified; Tennessee Makes the 36th State; Almost 27,000,000 Women Get Vote". This issue has several related articles, including "Suffrage Will Enable Mothers of America to Stay Hand of War," "Harding Gest Suffs' Thanks," "Suffrage History Full of Setbacks," and more. With brief articles about Evelyn Nesbit (involved in the murder of Stanford White by her former husband Harry K. Thaw) filing charges in her divorce suit against her second husband, Jack Clifford, as well as a lurid article about the discovery of a woman's torso found in the Hudson River (still, apparently, unsolved).
