Inscribed on the verso: “To Betty Jane—with best wishes from Adelaide Herrmann for continued success/ This illusion Noah’s Ark was destroyed by fire with sixty pieces of line stock including eight dogs—all trained to come out of the Ark.” 8 x 10”.
