Odd Fellows Hand Painted Wooden Box Containing Automatic Harp. (I.O.O.F.). Circa late 19th / early 20th century. Folk art wooden box hand painted with Crestline," the profile of a goat, three-link chain, 476, and F.L.T.". Wooden wind-up harp with flower decals likely used during rituals and ceremonies. Manufacturer's label is half removed, likely Oscar Schmidt. Harp with strings removed, abrasions, surface dirt, and wear. Box with wear, abrasions, scratches, staining, three large chunks missing from nails being hammered into sides, surface dirt, and craquelure to goat. Winding mechanism faulty. Good condition. 19 x 28 x 6".
