OKAMOTO, Shogo (Japanese, 1920-2001), Woods-Early Winter. 1978. Etching in colors. Image: 11 ?? x 8 ??. Frame: 17 ? x 14 ?? Plexiglas. Edition 22/120. Signed, dated and numbered lower margin. Okamoto was a print artist active during the Showa Period (1926-1989). He attended Tokyo University of Fine Arts, working mainly in etching and aquatint. He is known for his masterful landscapes, whether black-and-white or bursting with color. Paper lightly toned. Not examined out of frame. Good condition.
