Okito Chinese Stage-Worn Dragon Robe. 1920s.?Embroidered decorative Asian gown said to have been owned and worn by?famous Dutch conjurer Theo Bamberg, who performed in vaudeville with under the stage name Okito. Teal, dark blue, and white embellishments on a dark orange field, accented with gold?embroidering. Wide sleeves, with a crashing wave and dragon motif. Sold together with a signed check from Don Redmon and a TLS letter from Bamberg on Wacker Hotel of Chicago letterhead. Significant wear from use.?
