ORAZI, Manuel (1860-1934). L?Hippodrome. 1905. Paris: Societe d?Impressions d?Art Industriel. Color lithograph poster advertising the theatrical venue on the Boulevard de Clichy. An equestrienne in a stunning Art Nouveau jade and gilt dress and headpiece charges at the viewer on a black stallion, with others on the track following behind. This is the larger, almost billboard-size version printed on two sheets. Framed, with Plexiglas glazing, 92 x 61 ?? (sight). Slight wear along sheet breaks, folds, and in margins; scattered creases in image; red ink mildly toned, but still a strong image overall. B+. RARE. 100 Years of Circus Posters, 30.
