Oswald The Lucky Rabbit Figural Pillow Signed by Walter Lantz. 1949. Foamee Co., NY; head is 10? (with ears, 20?); this is an extremely rare depiction of the ?white version? of Lantz?s famous Oswald Rabbit character, who only appeared between 1935-38 (before and after, Oswald was black with a white face); this is foam-stuffed corduroy pillow with wire supports in each ear; 1 ear has ?Oswald? screened art; both original manufacturer tags are present; o/a bright and clean with Lantz?s signature in black marker above eye; first time we?ve seen or heard of this unusual piece; from Walter Lantz?s ?Family Television Archives?
