Pagoda of Wisdom. European, ca. 1930. Books are taken out of the pagoda and reappear within, or transpose locations from the pagoda to a decorated tube, or vice versa. Clever folding shelf mechanism. Similar to a Checker Cabinet. Said to have been bought from Okito?s workshop, and decorated in the Okito style. Height 13 ??. Routine included. Some minor damage and paint wear.
