Pair of London Pictorial Maps. Circa early/mid-20th Century. Including:

The New Pictorial Map of London. London: Geographia Limited, ca. 1934. Charming and humorous map extending from Hyde Park and Victoria and Albert Museum on left to Tower of London on right and Regents Park at top to Elephant and Castle at bottom. Contains two inserts: "Here are the theatres" and "Here are the cinemas." Linen backed. 20 x 30".

Taylor-Walker Mainland drawn by Lawrence Stone. London: George Philip & Son, Ltd, ca. 1950. Richly illustrated and colored pictorial map indicating various breweries, pubs, hotels, and other sites across the greater London area. Border includes coats of arms for these counties. Perhaps a promotional map for Tayler Walker's Brewery. Linen backed. 24 1/4 x 37 3/4". 

Condition

A-. Each with original folds. Minor toning, staining, and repaired marginal tears and creases.
