Pair of Mother of Pearl Whist Counter Boxes, Each with Four Hand Painted Mother of Pearl Counters. Circa 1840. One has highly reticulated lid and minor paint loss to counters, the other has four playing cards on lid surrounded by wreath of leaves, with paint loss to playing cards and minor paint loss to counters. Slight chip on rim.
