Publisher's full red cloth, front board stamped in dark blue. Some wear, soiling to binding, boards bowed a bit, some soiling in text. Very good. FIRST EDITION, #165/1,000 - PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY EVANS ON THE FFEP: "Compliments of Henry Ridgely Evans April 18/35". [And:] HULL, Burling "Volta." The Amazing World of Mentalism. 4to. 211 pp. Publisher's full green cloth, front board and spine stamped in gilt.
Condition
Boards rubbed, lightly soiled, boards bowed outward, corners bumped, text with marginal toning. Good. FIRST EDITION (Mickey Hades, 1976), WITH SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH OF "VOLTA" LAID-IN. Photograph is inscribed: "With best wishes for Success Volta 1961". 8 x 10", tape and creases at corners, verso soiled. Book is not signed.
