Pair of Simplex 35mm Reel Holders. [New York: International Projector Corporation, ca. 1930s.] Pair of 35mm film reel holders from a two-part projection system. With painted steel exteriors and aluminum reel holders inside (Mfg. Goldberg Bros.), each able to hold 2,000 feet of film, or 20 minutes of play time. One holder has a bell on the back which is triggered by an internal mechanism to indicate when the film is finished. The other has a slot to feed film through on top. Mounted to later stands. 21 x 17 x 3?. Scattered surface abrasions and paint chipping. Very good/good.
