(Some marginal staining throughout). Provenance: Obadiah Valentine (dated inscriptions (1744 and 1754), one in the style of Pennsylvania German). FIRST EDITION. Story was an English Quaker convert who visited colonial America in 1698 to lecture Quakers in the Pennsylvania colony.
