PHELPS, John E. (American, 1907-2002) Four structures from the Springfield, Massachusetts area: Storrowton Museum, The Old Day House, Newport, and a farmhouse with silo and barn. Ink or marker on paper. ca. 1970s, 80s. Unframed. Largest: 11 x 14?. Mat: 16 x 20?. John Phelps was one of the artists that worked with Howard Cook on frescoes and murals in 1937 at the museums and courthouse in Springfield, Massachusetts. Excellent condition.
