Lovely colored print shows the magician in conical hat and costume surrounded by the tricks of his trade, a bowl of goldfish at his feet. Plate 82 from the Costume Bild zur Theaterzeitung. Framed to 16 x 14?. Edgar Heyl, a Baltimore bookseller who specialized in conjuring memorabilia, believed this print to be one of the earliest to depict a rabbit being produced from a hat.
